The USA releases of girugamesh's last two albums "Girugamesh" and "MUSIC" have sold over 4,000 units in America. HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR profile:

Formed in Okinawa, Japanese rock band HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR has contributed theme songs for three hit anime series: "Bleach," "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Special Edition," and "Darker Than Black." The band has also contributed film songs for "Death Note: The Last Name (tribute album)" and "Anata wo Wasurenai." In 2009, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR (also known to their Japanese fans as "Haikara") returned to their original label Spice Records and released a new album "Swamp Man" featuring a new vocalist HALCA. Marble Sheep was founded in 1987 by Ken Matsutani, the ringleader of Captain Trip Records.

The band started its musical activity under the name of "Marble Sheep & the Run-down Sun's Children". Marble Sheep passed through many styles of psychedelic jam like Minimal Music, Heavy Rock and Grateful Dead Sound, and after several years was born again as "Marble Sheep." Along wth the name change, the band's sound developed into Space Punk Rock, focusing on the concepts of "Chaos & Paradise" -- like "Yin & Yang," the oriental concept of black and white -- which govern the universe.

The drums and bass form a heavy booming roar below the two guitar players who spread Psychedelic Seeds all over the world in addition to "Marby" -- -a sheep girl-who reigns as "Queen of Psychedelic Paradise."

Marble Sheep describe themselves as "Merry Pranksters of the 21st Century."

Popular in the Japanese indie scene for their hard rock sound and Maiko's alternating melodic/death-voice vocals, Dazzle Vision was formed in June 2003, and has held their current lineup since May 2008.

Dazzle Vision released their first album "Origin of Dazzle" in November of 2006. Their second album "Camellia Japonica" was released in April 2007, followed by an 11-city tour of Japan. After selling out of the first presses of "Origin of Dazzle" and "Camellia Japonica," their 3rd album "Crystal Children" hit #1 on HMV's pre-sale chart and #2 on Tower Records pre-sale chart prior to its official release in November 2008.

Last year, the New York Anime Festival and our friends Karaterice launched the Far East To East Showcase at The Knitting Factory. It was a celebration of indie, punk, rock, and pop both from Japan and NYC. This year, NYAF and Karaterice -- now with the super name Superglorious -- are bringing FETES back, and bringing it into the iconic Webster Hall.

From Japan, FETES hosts Kokusyoku Sumire and Swinging Popsicle, and from NYC, FETES features Echostream and Gelatine. (Bios are available at nyanimefestival.com.) Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show and available now at www.ticketweb.com and www.websterhall.com. The doors open at 5:30 PM, and the show starts at 6:30 PM on September 27. FETES is open to audiences of all ages.

Kokusyoku Sumire, Swinging Popsicle, Echostream, and Gelatine are four amazing bands -- bands selected not because of their involvement in anime, but selected because of the intensity and integrity music.

For more on the Far East To East Showcase, Superglorious will hold a FETES Press Panel on Saturday, September 26 at the New York Anime Festival. Superglorious will also maintain a booth at NYAF all weekend long where various FETES artists will appear.
